Most anticipated movies of 2022: Must-see films of the year

2022 is definitely the year of great movies; movies that will make up jump in excitement, laugh and also cower in fear at some of the scenes.

There is so much to select from; in fact, it’s a tad overwhelming. You need not worry because I am here to guide you through this year's cinematic goodness, with our picks of the top new movies, some of which are already released, some of which you may have watched, and some you may need to mark in your calendar.
My top most anticipated movies of 2022 are: (drumroll please 🥁 👇👇👇👇👇)


Batman

Ever since I heard there was going to be a new batman movie, I wondered who would play the role of batman and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed with the chosen actor.
The beautiful Robert Pattinson (Edward in twilight) stars as the dark knight. Playing the role of Bruce Wayne (batman), he fights crime in the highly notorious city of Gotham and faces off with the Riddler (a supervillain and a criminal mastermind).
This film embodies action-packed scenes, a touch of insanity and also nostalgia to keep viewers entertained and glued to their screens.
Directed by Matt Reeves, the movie stars Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Albert, Colin Farrell as the Penguin and Paul Dano as the Riddler. 

Release date: 4 March.

Morbius 

The third standalone film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, Morbius, is the origin story of one of the darkest supervillains in Marvel comics.
This movie is about a scientist with a rare blood disease who races to find a cure but at a price - becoming a blood-sucking vampire. Jared Leto plays Morbius and he definitely played his role perfectly. 
Besides Leto, the movie also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona as his love interest, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson in supporting roles. 

Release Date: April 1.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

As the name suggests, many mysteries surround Professor Albus Dumbledore especially concerning his family.
Directed by David Yates, the film is the third instalment of the Fantastic Beasts trilogy headlined by Eddie Redmayne as the young Magizoologist, Newt Scamander. 
Jude Law is back as Dumbledore, who is up against the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald played by Mads Mikkelsen.
The story revolves around Scamander and Dumbledore, alongside their allies, and their attempts to prevent Grindelwald from unleashing evil upon the world.
If you are a fan of Harry Potter, then this film is a definite must-watch.
 
Release date: April 15.

Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness 

Doctor strange returns once more and this time, we embark on a journey through different multiverses to protect a young lady and also secure the multiverse as a whole. This film takes you on a roller coaster ride.
The cinematography of this movie is top notch and it is definitely my highlight of 2022. 

Release date: May 6.


Thor: Love and Thunder

Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, God of thunder. The film brings back Jane Foster (Thor's love interest) who will be seen transforming into Mighty Thor and reportedly wielding the Mjolnir. Also returning from previous Thor movies are Tessa Thompson and Jaimie Alexander
This film promises to be exciting, funny and also full of great fighting sequences.

Release Date: July 8.

Let's take a look into 2021 BALLON D'OR award show, and its winner LIONEL MESSI. Do you really think he deserve this Award? We all wondered who would emerge as the winner, and it was so clear that Robert Lewandowski should have won it. Apparently, he was also robbed of this award a year before. But as we all know, our devoted Messi fans would never agree to this. Messi winning the Copa America for Argentina is not a significant reason to win the B allon d 'or.
